Travel Diary Dharamshala

๐Ÿž๏ธ 1. McLeod Ganj

As I walked through the colorful streets of McLeod Ganj, prayer flags fluttered in the cool mountain breeze. The aroma of Tibetan food and sounds of chants made me feel like I was in another world.

๐Ÿ›• 2. Namgyal Monastery (Dalai Lamaโ€™s Temple)

The calm here is contagious. Watching monks in red robes chant in harmony was a soul-soothing experience. I lit a butter lamp and made a silent wish.โ€

๐ŸŒŠ 3. Bhagsu Waterfall

The trek was easy but beautiful. As I reached the waterfall, the sound of crashing water drowned all my thoughts. I dipped my feet in the ice-cold water โ€” pure bliss!โ€

โ›ฐ๏ธ 4. Triund Trek

One of the highlights of my trip โ€” an unforgettable trek through pine forests and scenic valleys. I camped under a sky full of stars. Dharamshala from above is a dream.โ€

๐Ÿ•‰๏ธ 5. Tushita Meditation Centre

โ€œTook a break from sightseeing for silence. The day-long meditation session helped me reconnect with myself. Nature and peace โ€” what a combo.โ€

๐Ÿฏ 6. Norbulingka Institute

โ€œThis hidden gem taught me about Tibetan art and culture. The hand-painted thangkas and tranquil gardens made me stay longer than I planned.โ€

๐Ÿ›๏ธ 7. Tibetan Market

โ€œI shopped for handmade jewelry, woolen shawls, and prayer wheels. Bargaining with cheerful locals was surprisingly fun!โ€

๐Ÿ“ธ 8. Dharamkot & Naddi Village

โ€œA walk through these villages was like a postcard come to life. I met kind locals, had home-cooked food, and watched the sun set behind snow peaks.โ€
